The leisure and recreation area RheinPark is situated in the district Hochfeld directly at the Rhine. In the course of a running urban development project it is planned to develop the RheinPark into a new town quarter. After many years of industrial usage the Rhine is to be open to all Duisburger and its visitors again.

The already completed leisure and recreation area at the banks of the Rhine is enjoyed by many guests already. The Rhine promenade, the Rhine beach, the broad staircase and last but not least the skater facility have become attractions in a very short time.
